Veterinary Dentist for Pets

 

 

 

Dr. Morris is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist. She is also a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner.  Dr. Morris is accepting patients for dentistry for dogs and cats by referral only.  

Dr. Morris graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001.  Dr. Morris’ focus is dentistry, anesthesia and pain management.  She completed a residency in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at Hale Veterinary Clinic in Guelph.  Dr. Morris is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, the Veterinary Information Network, the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and is a member in good standings with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario

 

 

 

 


 

For Veterinarians:

To refer a client for a dental consultation and surgery with Dr. Morris, please fill out the veterinarian referral form:  Referral form – Veterinarian *To be filled out by the veterinary team.  Pet owners, please see form below.

Please be as detailed as possible – including the dates the vaccines are given and if they are 1 or 3 year vaccines.

If you have any photos or dental radiographs of the patient’s mouth, please send those as well.

Please email the completed form to info@bayviewwellingtonvet.ca

Once the form is received, a patient file will be created and we will contact the owner to schedule them in for the consult and surgery with Dr. Morris.

 

For Pet Owners:  

If your regular veterinarian has instructed you to contact us, please fill out the referral client information form:  Referral-Client-Information

If you are able, please take photos of your pet’s teeth with their mouth closed and lips pulled back.  Include one photo of the left side, right side and from the front of the mouth.

Email the completed form, along with any photos to: info@bayviewwellingtonvet.ca

Once the form is received we will create a patient file and contact you to get your pet scheduled in for the consultation and surgery with Dr. Morris.

The referral form will be sent to your regular veterinarian if we have not already received one.

 

Important Information:

Referred patients will not be accepted into the general practice.

Patients are required to be up to date on their rabies vaccination.  If medically exempt from the rabies vaccine, a recent rabies titre is required.  All core vaccines are highly recommended.

Pre-anesthetic blood results (CBC, CHEM, ELECTROLYTES for all animals and include a TT4 for cats over the age of 10), should be done within three months of the procedure.
